I wish I could live and find a job in Canada too, but it seems something not really easy...

I'm a student. And it's really difficult to live here. One rule:  the more money you got, the easier.
Remember Raël ? Once, I wondered why he chose Canada... Now, i made my own opinion about that lol

Hi, this is my 1st message of the year  ;D
Hope that's not the last one !

Yesterday I've been at the Paris concert of the tandem "Sexsmith - Slean"  :)

The Sarah setlist was approximately the following one :

-Eliot
-Lucky Me
-Out in The Park
-My Invitation
-Pilgrim
-Duncan
-Sweet Ones (w/ Ron Sexsmith band)

Sarah played alone on piano, which was a little surprising, but her voice was like crystal.Mainly of the people there was french and of course had never heard about her before, but there was no doubt about the fact that the audience was really impressed.

It was my second Sarah concert(after the one from last year @BBKings, in NYC !) and I've had the enormous chance(lucky me!)to be this time just in front of the miss... ::)  :D

The set was short as expected, so I wasn't very disappointed.
In fact, the REAL disappointment for me would come later, at the end of the show...  :-X

Sexsmith was very good , I got his last album Retriever just one week ago, so I could appreciate songs like Hard Bargain,
Not About to Lose or the excellent Happiness.  :D
His set was quite long, nearly 2 hours easily.
Sarah was invited to sing on "Riverbell"(don't know if it's the exact title...) at the very end.

At the end of her set, Sarah told that we could buy her CDs...
But to be in the front of the scene has an horrible inconvenience : :-/

When I arrived at the "CD shop" of the small concert room, there was NO Day One CDs , just the Sexsmith ones and Night Bugs...  :-[
All the available ones had been bought by my fortunate compatriots which had discovered Sarah ! A nightmare... :'(
Unfortunately, I couldn't stay for an autograph too.    

This sort of thing can really spoil your pleasure, believe me...

and Day One has been postponed to Oct 26...   :(
