Hey!

I can't believe there isn't a thread about this yet (if there is, oops :P).  Is there any information out there, besides what Sarah says in her online journal, as to what's going on with her new album?...how far along it is?...when it will be out?  Tracklist? :D

it's all been very hush hush.  I don't think many people have a clue what's going on.  Our best updates are on the blog.  I haven't been able to send out the newsletter for the past few weeks just because there isn't anything to talk about!  All my sources at least are dry!   :-/

thanks nikolita!  i'd be happy for now if she would play a toronto show at the rivoli like she used to always do.  i miss those shows.

Her 2002 release NIGHT BUGS garnered rave reviews from all over the world and earned her a 2003 Juno nomination for "New Artist of the Year". Sarah is currently putting the finishing touches on her new CD "Baroness", produced by Pete Prilesnik (Sarah Harmer, Big Sugar) and Dan Kurtz, which is scheduled for a mid-summer 2004 release.

Ah, that's great!  Just the kind of details I was looking for.  Mid summer?...excellent.  Although, they might end up pushing it back so they can figure out how to promote it...always seems to happen with quirky artists.  Hopefully it doesn't get delayed too long. :)

Baroness is the title then?  I had contemplated that as a possible title, but didn't think it was strong enough for an album.  But it sounds very sarah.
