and this time with a new layout. i have to admit i like the older one better because the new one is pretty generic. Maybe sarah is hoping to add more goodies on it, who knows.

well anyhoo, i'm glad she updated, it's definitly sooner than i expected. there's a new lovely poem and promises of a new album coming soon. ;D

I don't think the reformatting was intentional. I have a feeling that Sarah may have accidentally changed the coding in the blogger template and to fix it, just took on one of blogger's default templates. (this I painfully know from experience.) I expect it will return to it's former pretty self once the webguy sees it.

I like the new poem - you would think that one would be able to express themselves better through a song by having the added element of sound but I think there is something amazing emotive to the crafting of a good poem that you can't get in a song. Sarah masters both. Each word is piercing (almost calculating) yet tender and resilient. Each reading presents a new meaning, a slightly different hue from the previous one.

Sarah's bursting with talent and she only gets better as she grows. I can't wait for the new album.

yes, i love the poem. it takes guts to 'broadcast' such strong emtions here on the world wide web, or anywhere in general, and such intensely personal and powerful emotions did i see in that one.
seems too that she played around on there, changing a bit the last posting she did..added who's working with her and a few other extras.
im glad she keeps us updated on the new album this way...the impatience turns more into excitement.

now that I re-read her last post, you're right... she changed a lot! (mostly adding and editing). interesting. she clarified the artwork for her "book" which she meant the cd book and not "Ravens."

So our suspicions of Jon Brion producing didn't pan out. What a shame!! I bet they would have made a great team! I wonder why she's in LA then, or maybe she's back in Toronto now.

another update today...

photo shoot, schmooto shoot....just give me the music sweet sarah!...although i am curious to see this wilderness of hers.

although enjoyable, i find her "almost there..." messages such a teasing. no...i have patience...., must...have...patience.

the other suggestions though are completely appreciated.
what a lovely bunch of coconuts.

im in an absolute tizzy in waiting for the new album! im quite curious as to who did guest spots on the album. im not so surprised that there are guest spots....but wondering who they would be, and why we would be surprised at who they are (i know that that doesnt quite make sense, but you guys know what i mean)

time needs to go on ffwd, so i can get my slean fix!
