Title: Help, I'm not in Canada anymore!
Post by tvvcdtrades on Nov 13th, 2003, 4:28pm
Hey all,

I first discovered Sarah when I was sent  to Vancouver for 6 weeks last Aug/Sep. Much More Music played the 'Sweet Things' video several times and I was hooked.

I debated waiting 'til I got back to the US to buy 'Nightbugs' but I caved in and bought a copy from the Tower Records that was a few blocks from where I was staying. Lucky I did, as the cd isn't available in any stores (or online) here in California. I don't even see them play her video on the TV...

I've found the 'Open Mike' concert on Juno and I just discovered the Avo concert by accident a few days ago.

I'm sure she must've had more converts/songs broadcast on Canadian TV, but we don't get diddly squat here- is there a list of tv appearences about, and is anyone able to help me start a video collection?

Help, I'm not in Canada anymore!

Ross

hey there!

I am not sure if it's exactly what you are looking for, but I have a list of televised appearances (that I know of) on my site.  They aren't necessarily available online or offline though.  here's the link anyway:

Thanks Nik,

yes the list is helpful- gives me a good idea of what is out there, and what isn't. Sounds like the Open Mike & Avo concerts are the best that's th eclosest to a full show out there.

I plan on eventually dumping the video files to DVD so I can watch 'em on my TV (which is currently Sarah-free!) but it'd be nice to get other stuff too.

Heck, I don't even have Sweet Things on tape, only the 50meg computer video file...

It's such a wasteland here in the US, I'm not sure Sarah even exists... ;-)
