Title: Ed Harcourt... Post by guyfromARGYLEROAD on Jun 5th, 2002, 2:27pm I took home 2 play copies today: Zero 7 and Ed Harcourt I am definently impressed by Ed. I hate to compare but I need to in order to spark some interest. His voice reminds me of Jeff Buckley and Hawksley Workman. Yeah, a mix. His songwriting is all his own, he is no copycat. Hope you'll give him a listen. I for one am impresst. Have a good evening, J |

Title: Re: Ed Harcourt... Post by MatU2 on Jun 6th, 2002, 12:08pm ohhh Ed Harcourt RULES I've seen him live twice now.. and both times have been some of the best shows I have EVER seen.. He knows how to keep the crowd entertained ;) And he's a very very very nice guy... Speaks his mind isn't scared to insult bands he hates.. ie. Nickelback, Creed, Hoobastank, all nu metal etc LOL When we first met him the first thing he said was "I FUCKING HATE HOOBASTANK" because he was stuck with them at the Hard Rock Cafe here in Toronto most of the day because both were doing press interviews there.. and on stage he starts covering a nickelback song and then starts choking and pretends to die from it lol he's a big comedian... HE RULES Mat |
