the greatest pianist to have ever lived. absolutely brilliant genius. he is also sarah's idol. she has songs about him (Before Your Time, The Glenn Gould Song). and she loves him. she wants the room next to gould when she gets to heaven :) seriously, she said that.

You is right,
I found it an strange coinkydink when I bought my first Glen album and 2 days later downloaded the Glen Gould song.
She has great taste is artistship obviously, if I go see her in Orillia at the Mariposa Folk Fest this is what I is wearin'.
I would make a Slean shirt but, bah...I'll buy one.

Sorry, by the way...

Go at least buy, "Goldberg Variations", thats where I started and for sure you'll want more after listening to that.
I'm still trying to find some of his composition stuff, though some have said he wasn't a good composer, BAH.

anyone seen '32 short films about glen gould'? its bizarre, but good. i saw it in music class a good many years ago and i think its available at most libraries...

want to badly though,
I stayed out of public school due to touring n such,
never got to see it in school.
haha
PLUS I never read "Lord of The Flies" in school either.
THo I did read it afterwards, but that doesn't have much to do with anything now does it?

I knew that Sarah like Glenn Gould and that he played piano, but that's basically all I knew...  Anywhere I might be able to hear some of his music?

IIII got it through my CD store, 5 of them came in as promotion for NIGHTBUGS...they are double sided, one side has the night bugs cover the other, what you see on my wall.
NOW, they were available at the Trinity show in Toronto a while back, maybe she still gives em away?
Hmmm.
Well...if there is no possible way you can find one to buy or take.
I have 5 more.

that would be awesome, thankyou so much!  of course, i'll look around the net and whatnot for a few days to see if i can buy any others, i don't want to trouble you too much.  :)  how much would one cost?  thanks =)
