Sarah's new video, Sweet Ones, is currently on two top 30 charts here in Toronto.  I personally don't watch or listen to these countdowns but as long as here video is playing, I will for the time being  :)

The video is currently 27 on the Chum FM Top 30 (http://www.chumfm.com) and 23 on MuchMoreMusic (http://www.muchmoremusic.com/countdown).

a friend of mine does a radio show on a local campus station. i made him a disc of sarah slean ..

he's always playing one track a show.

some college radio station out here (I think York U) played a sarah song that i'd never heard before and then totally cut her up afterwards, saying that she should find her own sound and stop trying to imitate sarah mclaughlin.  >:( do you believe it?

i think the album night bugs sarah did find her own sound...
it just one of those things that take time.
Sarah is getting a lot of air time no adays like today "STARTV" had an interview with her at a book store.

Sarah Slean is talented and I'd be happy if people could at LEAST except that fact and respect her as an artist.

Yet they NEED to compare her to artist (Sarah M & Tori A - BAH) with THEIR own visions, thus making it sound like she has NO vision or interpretation of creativty to share.
On the contrary, the only reason one should compare any artist to another is to try to relate to people's tastes...
Example: If you know a music fan you'd mention that SS plays the piano and has a great voice, THEY would say, "Like Tori Amos?"...you'd say, "Not quite, she's better".
(When in all actuality she isn't BETTER she's Sarah Slean and if the person would take the time and listen they wouldn't NEED to compare, she may NOT be the best female artist out there, BUT...IIIIIIIIII sure think so...and I consider her incomperable)
