hey, so i.m driving some 700 miles (~1100 km) to see miss slean as she sets the church stage on fire in toronto next weekend...and this just happens to also be my very first trip to toronto, to canada, and--last but not least--to anywhere outside of the united states, ever...

i would like to take in as much of the city as possible saturday afternoon before the show...does anyone have suggestions of must-see places?  please let me know...

Hmm...Well an obvious tourist attraction is the CN tower.

Off the top of my head:

-the MuchMusic/ChumCity building on Queen St (go on Speaker's corner!)
-Yonge Street, Queen st. and Bloor ($$$) for shopping
-->the Eaton's Centre
-check out Sarah's parent's chocolate shop on Yonge--the address is on her web page
-Queen's Park if you're interested in politics...the University of Toronto is right around there if you're interested in looking at some older buildings
-Chinatown/Spadina

hehe sorry I'm not of more help...I live here while I'm at school so I kind of take it for granted and don't really think about tourist attractions
