With your copy of Night Bugs, did you get the complimentary single?? I thought it was a great way for promotion!!! On the back of it, it says (in both english and french)
"PASS THIS ON Turn a friend onto Sarah Slean".

I kinda wish they would have put different songs on it though. Although I like Eliot and St. Francis, I'm not sure those would be the songs that would draw my friends into her music. Either way, I think its a great way to promote her and I've already given out my single. ;D

It is a great idea, though! When I first got onto Sarah myself I bought multiple copies of Universe and gave them to friends. Methinks that I only managed to make my brother a partial Slean fan. *sighs*

My [canadian] girlfriend got a copy of the album with the complimentary single. I didn't. The french words are 'Passez le mot' ( hé hé hé I understand it :P lol ). She explains me that you should give the single to one of your friends. He listen to it, and of course he will love it so, he'll buy the album and then again....

perhaps it is only a canadian thing??? Nonetheless, it is a great way to get the word out on our favourite artist! yippeee!

I have completely NO idea why some people have gotten the complimentary single and others not. I was talking to a friend today about it, and he bought his copy of night bugs a few days ago, same store as far as I know, and he was soooo upset that he didn't get it. Hmm . . . strange!

Hmm...I bought mine at HMV in Canada and it had the bonus disc. But I saw it elsewhere in Toronto without the bonus disc. Perhaps it's an HMV only type thing?

I've bought mine in a MusicWorld Store in Montreal and I got the extra CD as Christophe * :-* * said..

It must be a promotion thing and maybe it was just a tryout and they didnt want to spend too much on that.. maybe they are simply waiting the result..

I didnt give mine to friend yet.. i want to chose that special friend that will get it... ::)

Hey guys,

I heard it was just the first few hundred CD's that had the extra bonus one bundled with it. So, if you were late getting Night Bugs, chances are you missed out. :( Unless there are still some stores that get less traffic and still have a few copies. If you're looking for one, I'd try stores that are out of the way of main populated areas. :)

EGBDF...I desreve at least a pound.
I've turned on maybe 6 people to Sarah's music.
I gave the comp CD to my friend Naomi, I play my CD store's play copy of it everyday and turned on the girls at Cotton Ginny across the hall(2), my brother is a Slean fan and a half now, my Father and my sister and our friend Tina.

I'm not thorugh yet...
I'm gonna spread it like the gospel, when something is this great, tell the world.
My first BIG interveiw whether it be TV or Newspaper or Magazine, I will b sure to mention that Sarah Slean is my #1 pick.

I think just the first few shipments have the bonus CD.
Record companies are doin this as a promo thing.
They did the same with Simple Plan's new disc and Remy Shand as well...
And Sarah's record label, Warner Canada just did it with Tuuli as well...

So...be sure to go and pick up CDs VERY close to the release date or ya may just miss out.
