Title: My introduction... Post by BananaPie on Nov 14th, 2001, 3:39am Hi everyone...or at least, the other 8 people currently registered. :) Just wanted to take the time to say hello and express my pure delight that this board is up and running and that we finally have a release date for the Sarah album you are surely all anxiously awaiting as much as I am. I am from Orlando, Florida and I discovered Sarah's music just before 'Blue Parade' was released, while browsing The Dent. I ordered 'Universe' and 'Blue Parade' off of the net and was entirely smitten by the beauty of the words and the voice of Sarah Slean. Looking forward to getting to know some other fans and maybe even meeting some of you when Sarah's album goes platinum..;D...and she stops in Orlando (pleeeeese?) on her world tour!! |

I'm delighted that we actually have a solid messageboard; I was going to write in and suggest something in this shade a while back, but oh well, school always gets in the way. I'm from North Carolina myself, so aside from ordering off the net (thanks for the autographs, Sarah!), I can only hope and pray that the magnificent Ms. Slean will wander down some long strange trip to these whereabouts. ;) |

I'm a lurker of Navy Soup and other online places where the name Slean is mentioned. ;D I'm from Australia and I actually first heard about Sarah in May 1999 on the "Every other Day Angels" mailing list - Paul Schreiber was singing her praises and so I got a copy of her Universe EP. I've been a fan ever since! I tend to keep a low profile but I do surface from time to time. Anyways... I love the new look for sarahslean.com and this wonderful message board! I'm looking forward to the new album. Keep smiling! :) |
